Top Dog Law

James Helm is the founder of TopDog Law. James grew up playing sports 24/7. Whether it was football, wrestling, or baseball – James has always loved to compete. He’s taken that same competitive nature and applied it to the courtroom fighting for his clients and building TopDog Law from the ground up into the powerhouse law firm it is today.

One thing many people admire about James is that he is a straight shooter. He keeps it real with his clients and isn’t afraid to share his own story of struggle.

May Firm

Robert May founded the May Firm on the core principles he learned growing up in a loving, hard-working, blue-collar family in Santa Maria. The lessons he learned from his parents are abundantly apparent in the day-to-day operation of his firm. They instilled in Robert and his four siblings the sincere desire to help people to the best of their ability. By example and by encouragement, Robert’s parents also taught Robert and his siblings the value of a solid work ethic.

Robert’s father, a concrete salesman, took exceptionally good care of his customers, treating each one like family and always going the extra mile to help them with whatever problem they had. Robert and his brothers follow in their father’s footsteps in the personal and exceptionally dedicated way they take care of their clients at the May Firm.

Haeggquist & Eck, LLP

We have a 99% success rate.

This means that 99% of clients we take on receive a settlement or win a judgment at court. Are you ready to be our next success story?

We are a rare women-owned law firm.

We are a rare women-owned law firm. Nearly every one of our partners is a woman. While we enthusiastically represent clients of all genders, the overwhelming majority of our clients are women who have suffered egregious wrongs at the hands of their employers. If you’re a woman seeking representation, we know how sensitive a topic this is for you, and our founder Alreen Haeggquist founded this firm to serve women just like you. We “get” your situation personally. Like most work fields in America, the legal field is male-dominated. We know what it’s like to be underestimated. We will fight for your success just like we have fought for our own power and success in the legal field. No one will ever underestimate you again.
